Hi all, is it possible to enable lights on Bosch Performance Line CX motor without going to a dealer?

I'm on a Cube reaction hybrid SLX 800.

Hi all, enable lights on CX bosch I'm on a Cube reaction hybrid SLX 800.
Welcome to the forum, @ecophys. Good news: your Reaction Hybrid SLX 800 is well set up for adding lights. First, there are two different scenarios here depending on which version of the bike you have:

If you have the standard SLX 800 (no "FE" in the name): The frame is ready to accept a compatible ACID front light via Cube's X-Connect system, where the connector is built into the headset and the wiring is hidden in the frame.

So the hardware provision is there, but you'd need to buy an ACID light that's compatible with X-Connect and plug it in. Once the physical light is connected, you'll need a Bosch dealer to actually enable the light function in the system software.

If you have the FE (Fully Equipped) variant: The Reaction Hybrid SLX FE comes with an integrated lighting system

already fitted, but the light output may still need activating. Either way, there are three possible settings for the light on Bosch systems, and you need a dealer to change this with the diagnostic system.

Unfortunately this isn't something you can do yourself through the Flow app or the Kiox display. Bosch requires a dealer to make changes like switching riding modes, enabling lights, and changing light settings.
