Sherwood Pines is the nearest place to me that is any good. I mostly ride the off-piste stuff there. I lead the occasional guided ride there and it often catches people out. That is 35 mins away by car for me. There is always local stuff when I need a change that takes me onto the Viking Way and other bridleways. Further afield is Cannock, about 1hr 40. But surprisingly to me, Woburn Sands is only 1hr 25. I used to go all over England & Wales until my knee problems started. I bought my first emtb in Jan'19 and was just waking up to how much more I could do with the assistance when Covid struck. On my second emtb and I now feel that I am no longer held back by my knees. I really should get out more!!
