I went to see Peter in Fordingbridge. (performancelinebearings.com) such a knowledgeable guy about E bike motors. So if you have an issue and don't have any warranty left on your bike it's a great way too get back on the trails without having to buy a new motor. No motor is fully sealed so water ingress is totally possible and I think it's great to go out and ride in any conditions and that if you are unfortunate enough to get any bearing issues then it is possible to get them sorted out for a reasonable price. Or with his very comprehensive guides too do it yourself. I was a bit dubious about going into my motor but after talking to Peter and watching his guides on his website. I'm now happy and confident opening up my motor and replacing any bearing.
