Hi all!
Today I've created an account on the forums.
While on holiday last year my partner and I started to explore mountainbiking.
As we normally live on flatland (Welcome to the Netherlands), we are not used to peddel into mountain areas and therefor got 2 E-MTB rentals. We were in love
.
But as you may know.. renting these E-MTB fully's is not cheap, so we decided on buying them ourselves after a couple of times. We do Whitewater kayaking too and this is a great alternative when not in our kayaks.

In the market for bikes:
So a couple of days ago we were on the market for 2 E-bikes, but looking for a used bikes because they are too expensive. We are both around 1.83, both new to the sports, but I have done motor cross, Trial and BMX in the past. I expect that we will never go for really difficult tracks or big jumps, it will most likely stay with casual trails. We did notice a huge difference in comfort between a hardtail and a fully, especially with my partner who is not that 'strong' build.
We just bought one and now headed for the second.
