I've been mountain biking for 12 years now, 57 years old. I never did enjoy the climbing aspect of it, but did it as it was necessary to get to the "good stuff". I always shuttled at every opportunity, but my local mountain just isn't really set up for good shuttling. Shuttle days were few and far between. Once I heard of e-bikes, I knew I wanted one. Then earlier this summer, a friend let me borrow his for a weekend. That's all it took.

I am now the proud owner of a 2020 Commencal Meta Power SX. Pre-ordered it in June and it arrived last weekend. This bike is a beast on the downs, and it climbs remarkably well for a pretty-much DH sled.

I have ridden more this week than I did all of last month. I love E-bikes!

Glad your aboard, I'm another 57 y/o ex mtb that has gone over to the electric side. Haven't have had so much fun in years. Bikes now about 3 months old and put nearly 400 miles on it. Enjoy your new 'boys toy'
