Handlebars

Hi want to change the original handlebars on my Scott Genius eRide 900 Turned 2021, to Renthal Bars and Stem the bit im not sure about is the headset
do I need to change it if so any ideas on which one I would need, any help would be appreciated

i take it you have the top cap thats shaped to the stem
if so all i did was filled the lump flush and fitted the new stem
i did eventually fit a hope top cap but that required a bit more digging around in the parts tubs but was easy enough

Hi yeah it is shaped to the stem, did think about doing the same but would rather keep it as it is incase I decide to refit

On the 3rd pic it shows that you have tightened differently per side. Please tighten again so that the gap is the same on both sides

Yeah but... have a look at the lower HOPE logo on the stem cap... it's leaning more to the left and not lined-up to the centreline of the bike frame!

Your OCD is slipping...
