Haibike eConnect

Is it only for Haibike or is it possibly use with other bikes too?
Is it powered by motor output, and if so what are the Voltage/current demands?
And where can i buy one?

Just asking because there's not many good gps- tracking options for thieves.
So, is it possibly use eConnect with other bike brands too?

I used to have a Haibike Hardnine with Yamaha PWX and aftermarket eConnect. I had to return my bike after a year for 90% refund, but needed to keep my eConnect. Now i tried how to run it on my new Specialized with Brose 1.3 Motor. The eConnect Cable is hooked into the Display Cable of the Yamaha, but I figured out that red and black are the „power“ cables. I tried to charge external with a power supply and the unit draw at max. 300mA at 6.2Vdc. So i was able to stip down the wiring and attached it to the Brose light connector which is always powered. The only issue is, i do not know which „future“ updates or functions won‘t work. And you need a supported Haibike frame number to initially enable your eConnect account.
