Hello everyone,
I've been an ebike rider for a few years. Current ride is a Giant Explore which is the weekday commuter. Lockdown sent me into nearby reserves, venturing first onto gravel firetrails and then more ambitiously onto single track MTB trails. I wasn't expecting to love that style of riding so much but I really do, it's a blast. In the interests of not destroying my very reliable and very lovely Explore I've talked myself into a Merida e160 500 which is about $7k more than I was expecting to spend a month or two ago. It's on order and a few weeks away, according to the dealer (small miracle in today's market). I've got so much to learn about the sport - I really am coming in knowing nothing but looking forward to learning.
Cheers
