Looks like your LBS can do a software update for your Trek Fuel EXe components made by TQ. Recent release notes show pretty significant charging time reductions, fix some bugs, and improves support for Bluetooth/ANT+ devices. The release notes can be found here: Release Notes
Even if you buy the firmware update dongle, you still need access to the TQ portal that only authorized Trek bike shops have access to as far as I can tell.
