All seems pretty poor from giant. I've had good experience with them here in NZ. Would be worthwhile going direct if you haven't already.

Another option is that these bikes are pretty popular with rental companies. You may be able to pick up a worn out bike with a good frame for next to nothing. Jump on the phone and see how you go.

So the lessons for us are more than listed above.

first of all if you want obtain something from your rights don't say all.
you have to describe your picture to giant or the retailer, then proceed with the suggested actions.
don't give them the entire picture to offer them the opportunity to say it's you fault,
itis normal that falling with a bike you crash it? Yes? What about the involvement of a lawer?
second don't use a bike that you payed few to risk your life In a downhill.
third if you do it you must be assured.
but these are lessons for you
