Hi Guys,
Wrecked my forks on a daft fall on Sunday - got dragged along the heather, inside lip and nose, which was nice!
Anyway, I'm on a Sereo Hybrid 140. I've grabbed a set of Fox 34 Float 150s...any thoughts, strong opinions, advice as to this being a good/bad idea?

What was on it previously? The 140 refers to the rear travel, they are 150 up front.

Yeah different years have 140 from SL, 2022 Race and Pro are 140 as far as I remember. I wish I had spent a little more and went for the next model with 150. Think it makes a fair difference

On my regular mtb I swapped the fork from 140 to 160 and had no issues, handled the drops and bangs even better😁

Something I am thinking about doing... maybe. Just picked up a new 2022 Stereo Race 140 with 140/140 and up front is the Rock Shox 35 Silver. The fork is 'ok', but nothing special. Thinking towards the future when I get tired of this... and upping it to a 150 something?

Bike is rad, was looking at the 2021 160 with the Zeb, and was ready to purchase...then I rode the 140 with the 29" wheels and fell in love. Such a great spec on this bike and it rides amazingly.

Except for the front fork. Might play with some tokens and tweaking. TBD

Absolutely no issue with this - mine was a 140 front (2020 HPC-SL) and I changed it out for 150mm
As others have said the newer bikes are 140/150, no issues with frame stress or anything. Mine rides nicer downhill now

Wow, so, tried the 150 and the bike was all over the place. One ride, bought a new 140, stuck it on...perfection again!!
Might be just me, but the front had zero stability... anyone want the 150 its on eBay right now 😂

Did you have your suspension dialed in correctly? 10mm should not affect the ride that much at all.

Got to agree 10mm wont effect it at all
There must have been something wrong with the fork
Most my bikes ive had have always been over forked and they ride much better the manufacturers always play very safe in my opinion as far as travel etc is concerned .
Glad your happy with it now thou .

Hmmm, not sure what it was then? Happy now though as you say...

Yeah as said I had 140mm on mine, converted to 150mm, felt very little difference other than a slightly slacker head angle

No idea what was wrong with the 150 for it to feel "all over the place" but at least you got sorted

Just had a look at your ebay listing - PRESUMING I go the right listing, but looks like your location

Compared to mine

That 150mm fork you got isn't an e-bike fork. So it wouldn't have had the tune on it for the weight of the bike. Shouldn't have made a massive difference but definitely not the right fork for your ebike :)

Hei kaverit,
