I will add to this as I add more functionality to the Forum.

21/1/18
  • Can now bookmark posts. You’ll see a bookmark option at the bottom of each post. How many times have you read a particular post in a forum that you knew you'd want to refer back to at some point in the future, only to go crazy trying to find it again a few weeks or months down the road? Well, this neat little add-on eliminates that by allowing you to easily bookmark those kinds of posts and store them so you can easily find them later on.
  • Tag users sends an email alert. For example, @Rob tagged in a thread will email me to let me know someone is calling my name.
23/1/18
  • Added new Motors section
  • Added ability to register using either Facebook or Google login
24/1/18
  • Added Tapatalk support
28/1/18
  • Added Bike Review forum section
29/1/18
  • Added for sale section
  • Changed link colour so external links stand out more (www.emtbforums.com)
2/2/18
  • Updated the forum for better mobile navigation. You'll see quick links now to new posts etc in the navigation bar at the top on mobile devices
  • Few general style updates
18/2/18
  • Added Giphy integration
20/2/18
  • New logo. New header and navigation design
  • Changed the tagged user colour to make it stand out a bit more
18/4/18
  • Updated to latest Xenforo release
23/4/18
  • Added Emoji post Reactions
21/5/18
  • New Media gallery for members

Added a bike review forum. This has a set structure that allows you to submit a bike review, upload a picture etc, and rate out of 10.

How weird is that. I have just this second sent you a pm about having a review section for bikes, accessories and services. :)

'Workshop' could be another good one to have.

I literally just replied to that!

Hopefully the review section, like you mentioned in your PM, will become a valuable resource for the EMTB community :)

Thanks
Rob.

Hi Eddie,

I agree, the new section is for bikes. I’ll add a section for accessories that is more relevant as soon as I get some time.

Thanks
Rob.

Added new product review section. Also upped attachment limit to individual posts from 15 to 25.

See if you can post a link on the eMTB smiles fb group. Or at least I think that is what it's called.

I was blocked from it a very long time back, and can't remember the exact name.

I still think that Instagram is a good source for you as well. Keep posting the photos on there. :)

Thanks @EddieJJ I managed to do that. Why are you blocked?

No idea Rob.

I guess that it is my hatred of dongles and other such tuning devices.

I changed the logo. I wasn't 100% happy with the old one. It's funny how a logo can make you 'feel'. This one is certainly different.

I am having a site enduro style Jersey made up for myself with the website logo etc and it wouldn't have printed well. Needed something that stood out better on mobile devices.

I liked the old one...

Ha! I know, me too, but I couldn't get anyone to consider printing that at all, and I couldn't get people I know to understand what it was without explaining it to them. The jerseys would not have worked with that logo. This is the new 'brand mark' that works a lot better on phones etc:

What sizes are available and who makes it? Some cycling suppliers ideas of XL and above are laughable.

It’s made by Ride It Clothing: Home

They are supposed to be high quality. Has a side zip pocket and lens wipe under the hem too. I have ordered a few different sizes upto XXL ? (I have ordered a very small batch from S to XXL).

“The limited new EDGE jersey combines an awesome look with the technology and popular features of our previous jerseys including high tech breathable, fast wicking material and the side zipper pocket and lens wipe under the hem.
A comfortable fit and high durability make this a jersey worth having.”

@ccrdave @Doomanic - amazing thank you, I didn’t anticipate that people want them, initially was going to be just for me but was a bit cheaper if I could get an order of 10, thank you for your interest!! I will set up another thread so I can make sure I get the right sizes for the batch that is about to be sent. PS - just to let you know that it’s about 4 week turnaround for these (y)
