Flyon Motor Remote Control

Has anyone replaced the Remote Control unit (Left thumb controller thingy) Mine was damaged in a crash a few months back, and I had this message pop up today. The wire goes through the bars into the Display unit....does anyone know what is inside?? Is it just screws to undo or is soldering required??

Hey did you manage to get a replacement? I am currently looking to replace my controls and cant find them anywhere!
