Exposure Flex/Orbea Rise

Hi there,

Recently picked up an Orbea Rise H30 on my cycle to work scheme, and was looking for a bar light for some riding after dark. I have an Exposure Joystick on my helmet, and was thinking about an Exposure Flex to go with it as it’s a bit lower profile than their big lights, and can be wired in to the Orbea battery.

Does anyone have any info, recommendations or advice about how good the light is, will it work with the Orbea etc?

My preference is to not use the bikes battery
1. Because i like to know my battery range is all for the motor and im not losing at least 10% in reserve light power
2. I know that you wont run the light at its full capacity as the lighting supply off the motor wont allow it so you get a restricted light output anyway
For me its a stand alone light only.

Thanks! I didn’t realise the light wouldn’t run at full capacity not ideal!
