Do you have to charge Canyon batteries in the bike, or can they be removed to be charged?

Canyon has several different ebike models and the answer may be not the same to every model. As these bikes ate direct sales, nobody will have a commercial interest in helping you.
Most models will charge both in or out of the bike, the ones with external batt need only the turn of a key to be removed, the ones with internal batt will need a tool and maybe a key or eventually there are canyon bikes whose batteries will not be removable.

My spectralon came with this adaptor within the tool kit but I only discovered what it was meant for two years later when we bought another brand of shimano assisted bike for my wife
