I decided in 2023 I was gonna make my life a little easier. I picked up the Milwaukee chainsaw a few months ago and stuffed it into a pack for some trail repairs. It wasn’t easy and the saw wouldn’t fit or balance properly as I rode.

I also found myself riding to one area and back again several times to gather all my tools. (Saw, batteries, drill, Rogue, shovel, sm rake, bike tools, screws, nails, snacks, first aid kit, glasses, phone, dirt-bag, and whatever else I might need.

The Evoc Trail Builder pack is a bit bigger and now allows me to carry everything I need , in one trip, on my back, while riding my eMTB. Sure it gets kinda heavy but the build of the Evoc Trail Builder pack is reinforced in all the right areas. Better shoulder straps, water resistant, heavier bottoms, strapping options, better balance, necessary pockets, heavier zippers, rain cover, “trail repair flag”, and a few other things I might need.

I usually work on my own so being able to carry everything in one trip is a plus for me. When I reach a site I decide which tools I will stash or which tools I need to take out.

The Evoc Trail Builer pack is kinda expensive but its use will save my other packs. I might blackout the little “Trail Builder” emblem so I don’t attract any attention while riding up to an area. But most of all it holds and cradles my Chainsaw just fine!

There’s also a nail/screw bag that can be attached.
I would recommend this Evoc Trail Builder pack. I like the ruggedness and it seems like it’s built to last.
