Thought I’d share my eMTB triangle stand. Cut the rod off an MX dirt bike stand and welded on an 8mm bolt that fits the ID of the bottom bracket crank center.
I like the concept but the tri stand doesn’t lift the back wheel at all for lubing ect. I bought the Scorpion stand by Feedback Sports which is kinda like a modified T stand. It elevates the rear just enough to spin the wheel and has more stability than the T which can tip over if the bike is leaned over too far.
I like the triangular stand idea as triangles are inherently strong. Made of 7000 series tubular aluminum for strength this would be a very good stand.
Design, test and produce it in a crowd-funded cottage industry start-up - please.
Ok, spinning the cranks is a problem and I need a better mechanism to hold the rear wheel. Ideally, one that isn't velcro tape lol. But so far so good.
