E8000 sudden drag at times

I read through the forum but couldn't find an answer.
I have an E8000 in my SC Heckler 2020. So far I'm quite happy with it, but sometimes while pedaling uphill I feel a sudden drag or loss of power, as if I shifted down from Trail to Eco mode. I noticed that it mostly happens when I'm going into a tight corner uphill, where the weight distribution on my pedals changes a bit or I stop pedaling for a second while doing the turn. Only if I completely stop for a second or two, the motor feels normal again and the drag is gone.

Also when that happens and I'm going to a higher speed, I feel the same odd surging feedback as described here:
Shimano STEPS E8000 first ride review
While the power delivery was smooth for the most part, there was some very odd surging feedback through the cranks when soft-pedalling or just under the 25kph speed limit. For some reason, the system would cut in and out in a fairly jerky manner, usually as you rotated the cranks through the dead spot.

Does anyone know a fix for this issue?

Dont know how to fix but noticed the same on my Shimano e6100. On an uphill ride the torque dies down gradually and on return to flat after creates a drag. Odd behaviour. Looking to try a firmware fix which I read somewhere can be helpful but need to find who can do that…

I had this on my old E8000 motor but never really figured it out. Some people talked about the motor overheating on sustained climbs but again. I never proved this in any way. I know my E800 used to be a bit like a two-stroke, as in you had to keep a fast cadence to almost keep it in the power. As for a update I'm not aware of one. Its an older motor now.
Sadly mine died (E010) some time after. Look for a spare motor maybe?
