E160 9000 Charge Issue

Evening Guys. I've just come back from 2 days riding and on trying to charge my bike, the Steps charger flashes Amber. The battery doesn't charge.

I've removed the battery and put it back in. Connections seem OK.

Any ideas ? Has anyone experienced this at all?

No but is it any different if you charge it outside the bike?

Use some compressed air to clean out the charge socket on the bike and head on the charger. Also check k if you have any moisture in the charge socket. I've had the same after washing the bike due to moisture in the socket.

Guys thanks for your responses. Having left the flap open overnight, this morning I have a flash free charge. Phew. Must have been water. Lesson.
