E sommet main pivot kit

Bikes 2yrs old now and developed play in the main pivot.
Gonna order bearings 6902 enduro probably max
Would it need the main pivot kit aswell ?
I've replaced plenty ktm wheel bearings and find if you don't use the full kit they don't last as long.
I'm probably gonna get it anyway but wonder what every one else has done .

I just changed out the pivot bearings( proper knackered) and trunnion (quite knackered) on my Sommet all the other bearings are in good shape. The seat stay and chainstay bearings are Max as standard on my 2018 frame, I just repacked them and they are smooth. I put the Aliminum rocker in boiling water before pressing the new bearings. I blasted the new bearing with an air duster to freeze it and you can almost press the bearing half way with your thumb.

I am going to do this in a few months, one thing I would like to do is change the hardware from silver to black, anyone seen any options?

Just done it alfresco...
Tried blind puller but no use so bashed them out from opposite side with the puller attachment.

I saw some hardware for sale, maybe for SC's.
Worth a try I rekon.

I got my bearings out with a G clamp and 2 sockets and pressed them in with the old bearings and G clamp easier than expected.
