I wanted to replace my Brand X dropper lever with something better so thought I would replace inner and outer cable while I was at it.
Had a real struggle getting the seatpost out because the cable seemed trapped by the motor. Eventually I dropped the motor a little which gave me enough room to move the cable and extract the post.
So , two questions, is it inevitable that the cable is too tight between frame and motor or is it just poor assembly?
And why do Vitus use Torx bolts for the motor and can I replace them with socket heads?
