    Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.

    Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.

Derestricting/tuning E-Bike with Bosch Cx motor

I’d say do it and let us know. I know people have been trying to always go faster, but these faster bikes are what people complain about leading to ebike getting banned . Though I’m the guy that keep the cats on his corvette, so we can breath better. I have a class 3 egravel, I can not pedal that fast up hill, on flates I can almost make 28 for 5seconds. Yet class 3s getting banned left and right. I dread when our class 1 mtbs are banned too.

How did you change from eu few to the us firmware?
 
How can I contact Ebike Doctor and what is price for unlock Gen 4 to 32km/h?
 
How is the forum a scam if, as a new member you are initially restricted from sending DM's (to help avoid spamming/misuse) and, a forum member EbikeDoctor who's account is still active, chooses not to respond any more?
