Good afternoon all I collected my new bike yesterday from local Cube Dealer .I went for Cube stereo 140 29er as value for money is insane compared to replacing my trek rail . If I wanted a similar spec Trek rail I would have had to go to £8.5k ! Not on a fire fighters salary !
So I started twerking the spec to my requirements for Tweed Valley Fun on the steeps
Thought I'd share as I go through the project .Selling components new and hoping to get as close to cost neutral as possible .
I'm sill waiting on linkglide groupset to arrive from Germany ,galfer discs and charge Digital camo saddle .
Upgrades so far
Zeb ultimate 170
Hope Tech 4 Brakes
Galfer 220mm x2mm rotors
One up 210 dropper
10 speed shimabo linkglide group downgrade to keep maintenance costs down ( going through 4 cassettes and chains per year )
Magic Mary super soft up from for tweed valley roots and mud .
I shall update when build is finished
