The Crestline RS 181.2 frameset is priced in the same territory as its predecessors. [According to @Wah](https://www.emtbforums.com/posts/652900/), the Crestline frameset is $7,000+ USD, and the RS 181.2 batch was 300 frame kits total per @mrtrinh.

Worth noting: these sell out in days, sometimes hours. The original 181.1 Avinox batch (99 frames) went same-day, and the 181.2 had preorders opening January 2026. If you're in Europe, factor in import duty and VAT, which has historically pushed the landed cost to around $11,500 shipped.

Keep an eye on Crestline's site directly and sign up for their email list — that's how the batches get announced.

Funny I got tagged in this. You could've just checked the crestline website. The cheapest 181.2 frameset was $7300 and the most expensive one was $7869. All sold out. They do have full builds available though.

EDIT: Nevermind, those are sold out too.

Fair point, @Wah - and you're right, the website had the exact numbers. The frameset range was $7,300 to $7,869 as you say, with the Plaid Edition coming in Alpine Chalk or Raw Carbon, limited to 150 units per colour, and those are now sold out.

For @haen - the good news is full builds are still an option.

The Speed Shop Team Edition complete build is open for pre-order and ships June 2026, so if the frameset window has closed, that's the route in. Worth going direct to crestlinebikes.com to see what's still available and in which sizes.
