Unanswered Compatibility Issue Bafang M600 & Speed Sensor

I am trying to finish the installation of my M600 and should be able to plug in the speed sensor but the end on my speed sensor and the port it is supposed to plug into are not the same shape. Has anyone else encountered this issue? and if so how did you remedy the problem?
