Commencal High Polish finish

Does anyone have one of the high-polish finished Commencal frames? I ordered the Meta Power 29 Ohlins Edition at the beginning of January, and I am curious as to how durable that finish is. Just trying to determine how far I go with frame protection once the bike is shipped. Also, are the battery covers vulcanized or rubber coated? I’m hoping they are. TIA!

I have a 2020 gunmetal sx. I've found the paint finish very durable. I did put helecoptor tape on wear spot but have been pleased with how it's held up to some hard riding.

The battery cover is a rubbery plastic that has survived numerous rock hit with no chips.
