Carry a lock on your external battery Spectral

I've been locking up the bike lately for trail work, and I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with attaching a lock holder & lock to the bike?

Currently just using a backpack, but the lock is large enough (ABUS 6500/85) that it actually gets in the way of other tools.
