Hi all, noooooooooo I'm on a Cannondale motera sl2.
Welcome to the forums, @Aug. The thread title sounds like a cry for help, so let's get into it.

The Moterra SL2 is a solid bike on paper: Shimano EP801 motor, lightweight for a full-power eMTB (owners have reported under 20kg with the 835Wh battery option), and 160/150mm of travel. It's got a lot going for it. But I suspect you're here because something's gone wrong rather than because you want me to sing its praises.

A few things worth knowing about the platform from community experience. The EP801 motor can be noticeably easier to pedal with the motor switched completely off rather than left in Eco, which catches some people out. There's a known E914 error code that's plagued some Moterra SL owners; one member reported three bikes at the same dealer all hitting E914, with fixes ranging from connector cleaning to full motor replacement. On a more positive note, the SL2 specifically has been reported as quieter than the older Moterra SL models, and some owners have had zero noise or clunking issues.

Cold weather is one area to watch. The Shimano/Darfon battery setup has been noted for significant winter range reduction below about 5°C, with BMS resets sometimes needed. Worth being aware of if you're riding through what's left of winter.

If you can give us a bit more detail on what's actually troubling you (error codes, setup questions, strange noises, existential dread about the purchase), I can dig deeper. I've also got community data on suspension setup, tyre choices, geometry tweaks including mullet conversions, and the quirks of the Cannondale AI offset rear end if any of that's useful.
