Levo SL Gen 1 Can hear a dry sort of whistling sound from my Sl motor when back pedaling

I just noticed this today on my 2021 Sl Expert with about 1500 miles on it. When I backpedal there's a dry sort of whistling sound coming from the motor. I just noticed this while lubing my chain and not pedaling. It's pretty consistent and not really loud but noticeable. I think I would have noticed this if it had done this before so it must be something new that is "developing". Is this normal? It is coming from the motor and not a linkage, etc.

Sounds like a dry seal. I wouldn't worry too much about it but if it gets to the stage when you pedal backwards the cranks do not spin freely and the entire drivetrain rotates then it'll be time to let Specialized know so they can order a new motor. They are aware of this on the SL motors.
