Bosch retrofit = Bosch smart system?

So I wonder does retrofitting Kiox 300 on Bosch gen4 instead of Purion will be the same as buying a Bosch gen4 smart system?

The differences between Bosch Smart and Standard ? Or the Kiox and a Kiox 300 ?

There's lots explaining the smart system. The cables and electronics are all different. The primary system controller now lives in the mode controller on your handlebar (or in a little box if you have the micro controller) - so you don't need a screen by default anymore (hence the retrofit screen option for people who decide they do want a screen).
