bomber rear shock

Not yet, but looks like they are just trading on the nostalgia of the bomber name. Personally I won't touch anything fox after a string of failures.

Isnt this new MarzFOXi shock similar to older RC4 technology/internals though @Dax ?
Those were great reliable shocks and are still better than a lot of the stuff available today.

sorry. OP. no personal experience of this exact shock. choosing a coil shock sort of depends what bike you're wanting to fit one to aswell.

i want to fit it on my 2019 levo they do more or less the right size 210 x 55 (spesh size is 210 x 52.5) but it looks remarkably like a fox van so i wondered if it was some sort of rebadge. I had a fox van on my 2018 levo and really liked it but they dont come in the size I need now

I don't know the details but I believe shaft size is different to the VAN. (it certainly has different seals) and internals are supposedly not quite as sorted as the RC4 so possibly a good middle ground. ??
still depends on the levos LC and progression which shaft size would be the best choice though.

do you mean shaft diameter? an interesting point, is it smaller than the van or larger. if you meant length thats not a problem as it can be spaced

Yes diameter.
The RC4 came in two shaft diameters.
VAN AFAIK just the one.
