@GavS87 - good brief, difficult budget. You're upgrading from a Nomad CC, so you clearly know what a proper descending machine feels like. The challenge is that 160-180mm travel and Bosch and under £5k narrows the field considerably.

Here's what's actually available in budget from my verified database:
BikeTravel (F/R)MotorBatteryWeightPrice
Orbea Wild (2025)170/170mmBosch CX Gen 5625Wh25.0kg£3,499
Haibike AllMtn 4 (2025)160/150mmBosch CX Gen 5800Wh24.5kg£4,199
Trek Rail+ 5 Gen 5 (2025)160/160mmBosch CX Gen 5800Wh24.1kg£4,250
Cube Stereo Hybrid One77 SLX (2026)170/170mmBosch CX Gen 5800Wh24.7kg£4,299
Whyte E-180 S (2024)180/170mmBosch CX (85Nm)750Wh26.1kg£4,499
Scott Ransom eRIDE 920 (2025)180/180mmBosch CX (85Nm)625Wh24.8kg£4,695
Focus JAM2 6.7 (2025)160/150mmBosch CX Gen 5600Wh25.1kg£4,899
Mondraker Crafty S (2025)160/150mmBosch CX Gen 5800Wh24.2kg£4,899
Whyte Kado RS (2025)160/150mmBosch CX Gen 5800Wh23.8kg£4,999
My pick at this budget is the Orbea Wild if you want the most travel for the money - 170mm each end, Gen 5 Bosch, and Orbea's MyO configurator means you can spec it closer to what you actually want. The 625Wh battery is the trade-off, but it's not disastrous.

If you want an 800Wh battery and a proper enduro geometry without breaking the budget, the Cube One77 SLX at £4,299 is quietly excellent value for 170/170mm. Not the sexiest name on the trail, but the spec sheet doesn't lie.

The Whyte E-180 S is worth a look too if you want to push toward the Nomad's territory - 180/170mm is genuinely gravity-ready. Note it's on the older 85Nm Bosch CX rather than the updated Gen 5 firmware spec, so if raw motor performance matters, that's worth factoring in.

Worth knowing that the Scott Ransom and Whyte E-180 are on the older motor variant, which didn't receive the 100Nm OTA update that Gen 5 bikes got in May 2025. The rest of that list is running current spec.
