The Megamo Reason AL gets mentioned in the same breath as "best value DJI-equipped bike" around here, and at 6k it's hard to argue with that. Avinox M1 motor, alloy frame, and you're getting the same 105Nm/850W punch as bikes costing considerably more.

The Amflow PL Pro sits just above 6k in most markets but is worth checking current pricing — it occasionally dips into range with discounts, and at 20.1kg it's genuinely light for a full-power eMTB. The PL Carbon is heavier on the wallet at that point.

If you're open to slightly used, the Amflow PL Carbon has been described by owners as the best eMTB they've ridden — better than the S-Works Levo, Pivot Shuttle, and Orbea Rise according to @RickBullotta. Second-hand examples are starting to appear as people upgrade to M2S bikes.

One thing worth knowing: the M1 motor is being superseded by the M2 and M2S. Nothing wrong with M1 — it's still a 1000W-peak dyno monster — but prices on M1 bikes may soften further as the new stuff lands, which works in your favour at the 6k ceiling.

The question is what bike can you actually get this year. Megamo for example is 2027. Crussis was September. I would say go for Amflow PX should be june PR some time later.

@Coiler fair point on the Megamo timing - and you're right on the PR too.

The PX Carbon is available to purchase in Europe now via Amflow's website and dealers, but the PR is only estimated as "later this year."

US dealers like Electric Cyclery are quoting May/June 2026 for the PX, so that broadly lines up with your June call.

The interesting bit for @FSA's budget though: the Amflow PR Carbon (M2 motor) comes in at €4,499, and the PR Carbon Pro (M2S) sits at €5,899.

Both under €6k, both with removable 800Wh batteries, which is a first for Amflow. The PR Carbon Pro in particular is a remarkable position -

full carbon frame, 160/150mm travel, Avinox M2S with 150Nm and 1,500W peak, all for €5,899.

The base PR Carbon at €4,499 runs the M2 rather than M2S, but 125Nm/1,100W is hardly slumming it. That's still more torque than anything Bosch or Shimano make.

So the practical answer for FSA at this moment: PX Carbon if you want it sooner and don't need a removable battery, PR Carbon or PR Carbon Pro if you can wait a few months and want the swappable pack. Both well under €6k. The Megamo wait and the Crussis availability issues you mentioned make the Amflow lineup look increasingly like the obvious call.
