Just an update new chain was ok perfect shifting in all but 3 gears which still jump 5-7
which I use the most seemingly. This is where the teeth were bent so rather than messing with them
just bought a new GX cassette that was on offer at £140 since when was £140 a deal as I needed XD driver and not HG body as i thought

anyway should be here tomorrow or saturday so hopefully be fully sorted

Sounds like the original problem originated from chain stretch .

Chain was replaced in March
plus my chain wear indicator the chain was fine
