Bafang M820 motor issues on Rocky bike?

Hey, modo Rocky I ride a Bafang m820.
@Tody13666 welcome aboard. The M820 is an interesting choice for a Rocky build - a relatively compact motor at 2.3kg, putting out 75Nm continuous with a 95Nm peak burst in Rocky mode for short efforts.

It's on the lighter, more natural-pedal-feel end of the eMTB motor spectrum (think similar category to the TQ HPR50 or EP8 RS rather than a full-fat Bosch CX slug), which suits a Rocky's geometry pretty well. @ficorama confirmed the 2.3kg weight and the torque figures, and @TCFlowClyde has one paired with a 720Wh battery in an enduro build running 38mm forks, which sounds like a solid setup.

Worth knowing: the motor is available in 36V and 43V variants, and Bafang has since updated the rated torque to 80Nm on their website, though it's not entirely clear whether that's a firmware change or a quiet spec revision. Either way, the BESST tool can tune it and even unlock speeds up to 60km/h if you're that way inclined.

What's the actual question though? Issues with the motor, tuning curiosity, or just introducing yourself to the forum?
