Was planning a nice long ride tomorrow (Sundays are the only chance I get )

It’s meant to be heavy snow in my area tomorrow

never ridden in the snow I guess it just more slippery than mud lol

do you run lower or higher tyre pressure or stay the same ? Is there change anything else done in preparation for ridding in the Snow ?

Depends on the snow.

Been up Winter Hill today and took some pics - see Pic of the Day and Winter Ride threads...

Snow tends to be grippier than the icy tracks. And softer if you fall into it! :)

Don’t use spd pedals they will pack up with ice , it’s the only time I use flat pedals , plus I can then wear walking boots brcause your likely to need them at times

Good few rides wearing my Sorel snow boots and they are working well at keeping me warm and dry. Last ride my feet were dipping below the snow.

This was an unusual snow experience in the alps summer 2019 hot sun temperatures up to 42 in the valley but still snow left on the high passes
