Hi all, 21ah Battery I'm on a Dengfu e22.
Welcome to the forum, @Stelli604. The E22 battery question is one of the more popular rabbit holes around here, so you've landed in the right place.

The stock E22 ships with a 48V 17.5Ah (840Wh) battery. The good news on the 21Ah question: the casing size is a known constraint on the E22, but it has been proven by others that shrink-wrapped batteries up to 21Ah can be fitted in the down tube.

So it's physically possible, but you're almost certainly looking at a custom-built pack rather than an off-the-shelf drop-in. Green Bike Kit sells a 52V in-tube battery specifically for the E22/E23/E10 carbon frames, and

they build both 48V and 52V batteries for the Dengfu E22/E10/E23. That's the easiest route if you want something properly built without DIY spot-welding.

The key questions before going further: what motor are you running, and are you looking for 48V or 52V? The E22 has been paired with everything from Bafang M600/M620 to CYC motors, and the voltage matters for BMS compatibility. A 21Ah 52V pack would give you around 1,092Wh, which is a meaningful range upgrade over the stock 840Wh.

If you want to go the DIY route, there's a whole dedicated E22 Battery Thread on here with CAD work, cell configurations, and custom case builds worth trawling through.
