Hi, newbie here. Just got my new EXE b/c some jackwad stole my Remedy 7 when it was in the shop for it's annual free tune-up (see my newbie intro if you care for.the story).

Got some ?'s I and dealer can't answered- the tech hasn't been trained yet.

Background:
TQ apps are up to date (Drive unit, Battery software, and Display software). I don't know about the Smart Box software yet.

1) On my Trek app Dashboard screen, it always reads "connecting" but never gets to where.it says "connected". Blue tooth is on and the Trek app main screen recognizes my bike which is registered on the app. Anybody know why and how to fix it?

2) In the Trek app on the Map screen, the Range Cloud never appears. Any idea why and how to fix?

3) In the Trek app, on the Settings page, in pink it says "Disconnected. Some features unavailable. CONNECT", but it doesn't change anything.

4) On the Trek app, it doesn't show Range for.any mode on the Dashboard.

5) Even with a new battery installed, the front Tirewiz isn't connecting to the Trek app. This is after the dealer confirmed today the bike has the latest hardware and installed a new battery. I could take it back but it's a hassle

Any help from anyone is much appreciated! 😊

Thank you. Got it working now. Couldn't get it to work together so deleted all the apps and started over from scratch and that got it all in synch and now everything is working like it should. TQ app, Trek Central app, etc. Kind of a PIA and not easily understood, but now that it's synched and with some experience using it, it's fine. If you need any help, would be glad to do what I can.

Thanks. good to have a backup. This is our first e-bike so a lot to learn. One off topic question. I’ve seen that it transmits power and cadence via ant+ but they didn’t say speed was included. Surely it has to be. Just working out what sensors I need to get garmin up (none I hope) and how to also get quadlock on the bar. Small issues.

It's my 1st e-bike too, so learning curve going on. After all the apps got loaded it works well. Speed is shown on the "dash" and is one of about 4 different data that can be displayed e.g. speed, cadence in rpm, remaining miles of battery charge relative to which level of assist you are using, and power meter (how many watts the rider and the bike are providing. The Garmin map comes up fine and doesn't require any sensors. It has a pretty cool feature showing on the map a boundary line for 50% of the distance the remaining battery charge will take you and 100%, which is pretty useful. I also installed a Speedi which is great. It allows me to maintain higher speeds on flat roads. Also depending on what riding you are challenging yourself with, reprogramming the power delivery via the Tek Central app is great. It went from "yeah, this bike and e-power is ok" to "wow, what an awesome and seamless addition!!!".
