2020 Trek Rail 9.8 XT w/carbon fiber wheels - Finally arrived after ordering beginning of May

I'm really stoked to finally get my Rail. Took it out on a 20 mile ride yesterday. I'm diggin' my new ride.

When I placed my order, Trek gave an estimated build time of 57 days. Then about a week later it was changed to 78 days.

I'm located in Mesa, AZ and ordered a size M.

Very nice Rail. Was the motor software update done by Trek or will you have to do it at the LBS? My Rail 9.8 XT is expected at the LBS today. 45 day lead time.

My LBS did the software update before I took delivery.

Looks great. Wish I had the possibility to get the xt from the start. My 9.8 came GX. Broke 3 GX derailleurs before swapping for an XTR shifter and deore derailleur. Your colors are nicer too. How much extra for carbon wheels? I've dented mine a few times already (alu)

It was $600 more for the carbon wheels. I figured it was well worth the money.

That’s an awesome colour.
The 2021 Trek Rail 9.8XT is the navy teal blue and orange. Unfortunately in Australia colour choices are limited unlike in the USA

When i purchased my 2021 9.7 they said i could have any color I wanted. As long as I wanted green
