Can anyone please let me know if you can fit a 29er rear wheel in a 2020 kenevo?

According to STW its possible in the larger sizes STW Kenevo...

Interesting.. that would definitely make this into a monster truck! Kinda of seems counter-intuitive but makes me wonder if you could run a shorter stroke shock to get ~ 160 - 170mm, run 170mm up front and go 29r. BB would some, but it might not slack out too much.
Edit: a 230x57.5mm should get you ~ 162.5mm travel. A2C on some 160mm forks would be really close if not the same to the 572mm on the 180mm 27.5 stock fork . Hmmm

A 2.6 29er just fits with about 5mm clearance.

Assuming that's in the rear. Fork have enough clearance? Most likely not..
Fork has 20mm clearance on 2.6 Eliminator so it’s doable as a 29er is around 15mm to 18mm bigger with the same tire.
Bit close though.
I went with different fork and Mullet setup. Perfect combo for me.

That is a bit closer, I would be concerned of a rock or stick wedging in there and stopping the tire.
Yes definitely too close but if you went with a smaller Tyre around 2.3/2.4 it could work.
I went with Ohlins Back and front 200/200.
Have you mulleted the 2020 Kenevo? If so, what travel fork did you go for?

Quite a few big travel 29'r emtb's from other brands on the market now, would it not be worth checking them out if you want to go 29? One chap I spoke to from S said that they went with 27.5 to ensure the bike was still playful and manoeuvrable, I would be worried about making the bike into a pure monster truck.

I always thought fat bikes were more the monster trucks of the bike world. People love riding them.

I found my 2019 Kenevo with single crown 29/180 forks rode real nice. A definite improvement over the 27.5 for general trail riding. Of course it lost some of its playfulness and manoeuvrability but I wanted it for its monster trucking. Due to my back injury I can’t throw a bike around like I used to anymore so this suited my needs spot on!

Well I just put my ohlins on an S4 and while yes it’s big it’s just perfect.
A proper downhill beast now and it loves to climb no problems.
So you put on 29" wheels frot and back after changing fork?
Just the front mate, rears still a 27.5.

I want to upgrade my Kenevo to a 29er. I have both the S4 2020 Kenevo and the Large 2020 Levo. It looks like the Kenevo and Levo have exactly the same amount of space for the rear wheel. The 29 inch 2.6 butcher on the Levo has very little clearance (5mm). I just picked up the fox 40 double crown 29er. Hope this all works out...?

With both wheels at 29 inch the only thing that makes it a bit more slack is the 200mm vs 180 front suspension. The bike is actually for my son who has an ideal weight around 120kg. I wanted the Kenevo over the Levo for him for the strength and durability. I believe the 29 inch wheels will make the bike a bit more of an all mountain bike that should still be able to do downhill just fine...I Hope))

To answer the questions, yes you can put 29 wheels in the rear without issue

To balance out the bike the fork is a 29/170 setup
To answer the next question, the BB height is not a hinderance at all. Mine measures out at 361 or about 7 mm higher than my Enduro. The bike is insanely fast every where. We ride a lot of very steep and raw natural trails along with some big jump lines and the bike absolutely slays. Getting to those trails is done via steep technical singletrack climbs with lots of tight switchbacks. Again, no issues with the 29 wheels. Happy to answer any specific questions about the changes.

Guessing rear tyre clearance in the chainstay/seatstay yokes will be pretty tight now?
