2019 Giant ROAD E+1pro feels like pulsing when pedaling.

Hoping for help on my giant ROAD E+1pro. I road a couple hundred miles without any problems today during a 50 mile ride the motor felt like it was pulsing to a frequency it sounded and felt almost like the chain was hitting the front derailleur so when I turned the motor to off it stopped so it is in the motor or motor control, another thing was the extended battery did NOT come on automatically the main battery went to 0 I had to stop push the extended battery on switch wait a couple seconds then it came on and ranged only about 1/2 of what I usually get out of it. I got home and attempted to update and it disconnects after a couple seconds I tried at least 10 times with excellent WiFi connection. Anyone have the issue and what was the solution? Thank you for any help or guidance

Had a similar pulsing issue, sorted out by using the old method mentioned in the attached photo. But maybe your Ridecontrol is different. This method seems to cycle through different speed options.
