I don't have a Wild. But if I did, there's no way on earth I'd be fitting a 190mm fork to it. I don't think many bike would ride well with +30mm under the front end.

Why not? Cheap to swap to 180 if you didnt like 190. Kona process dh is 165r/190f with a boxxer. Nice park bike
BITD susoension bikes were all pretty shit to be fair. The pivots would fzil in short order of the frame sould crack zo we ended up throwing our boxxer or jr T or super T on any hardtail frame we had laying around. SA was crazy slack and the bb was jacked but they could drop down steep gnarly trails quite well. Hopefully the ht frame would last long enough to get the fs frame fixed up. Those old ht frames were sesigned for 80-100mm forks and we were putting 160-180 forks on them. Definite bump in dh capability

I'd imagine more than a few 2025 wilds will end up with a 190 fork

I have overforked my last 2 bikes, but 190mm on the wild seems a bit extreme. Only because the BB is already high around 355mm in 160mm front, so you would end up with a ~365mm BB which will be quite high and affect the turning feel.

Ah, days gone by. A time before we accepted that damping might be more important than overall travel. Big Hits, the original mullet? Stinkys... Good times.

In all fairness, so were HT frames with Monster Ts 😂 dynamic head angle must have been close to vertical at full compression.
