I had a look in the comments and someone asked about the VLT 2020 and the creator replied there was issues with fitment.
Yeah norco came to the party no issues. Even replaced the speed sensor which got chewed when the chain stay broke. Couple of things but, the chian stay is stamped with 29, no...
There is a video on YouTube by epic ebikes and they swap the E8000 out for the ep8. I should mention it's on a meroda e160. The cables aren't interchangeable so you have to run new cables etc. How they got one off Shimano I do not know.
I'm at 8000ks on my second motor, first one lasted 1700ks. Just had it reviewed by Shimano and they said motor is fine, it's now out of warranty. As for the bike I've had to replace some linkage bearings and other stuff due to wear and tear but touch wood the frame has held up well.
Anyone had anything like the following. Recently my bike has been making some odd noises when the suspension is in motion. It doesn't do it all the time but mostly when things get rough.
It sounds like rocks flicking into the carbon triangle. Or if the frame was to crack. I just had the front...
The new range models come in an XL
I'm 188cm and it just passes for me. I tried a giant and the L in that was so cramped yet the merida was perfect in a L
My DD assegai had done 1500ks but it was well and truly shagged. Should have binned it after 1000ks. The aggressor has done just shy of 2000ks and starting to look a bit ordinary. The assegai in the front is at 800ks and still great. I'm more a trail rider than enduro so not as hard on my tyres...
When I bought the bike I had an assegai DD on the rear, was really good but chewed through the rubber fast as I didn't use the bike solely for trails. Once it died I put an aggressor on the back for a bit less rolling resistance but as it's not DD it needs lots of pressure for the knocks which...
Never had this happen but glad you raised it, will know for future because no doubt it'll happen at some stage. It's a pretty crappy design. You'd think they would have attached the flap.
On another note has anyone installed a chain guard on the front chain ring or can it be done? I've had the...
I'm 188cm and I have the large. It does feel lighter than similar bikes, I think it's the short chain stay. I was set on a giant e trance but I could barely get the front wheel up and the large felt squishy like I was leaning over the bars. Sadly the was no XL to try.
I have the VLT 2, I love it. It's been rock solid except the shimano motor has a few quirks. I'm a fat c... 113kg so I'm virtually on the limit of the bike but haven't had any issues although I'm not into huge jumps. Mainly just blue, green single track and some commuting.
On eco if I was 10kg...
