Finished my build fitted a 160 air shaft and gold Fox decals on the forks, really like this bike it does everything really well. Below are pictures with the 170 travel (red fox decal) and updated with 160 air shaft (gold fox decal)

I think at 170 it’s a bit out of balance unless you increase the rear travel, here is mine with 170 we fitted a 160 air shaft yesterday which is much better.

I think you should consider this a trail bike its not an enduro in my view and does not ride like one.

When I replaced the chain on mine it was clear the chain guide was positioned way too high and not doing anything I lowered it by a fair bit too make it work. Not sure if this is the same for yours?

It’s fine the standard travel is ok for most of the trails in Perth, power wise it feels fine better than my SL but nowhere near a Full Ebike. If you buy from an official Trek store you get a 30 day return period to try the bike, Trek Myaree ask for Connor he is the manager.

Hi Rob did you change the Mino Link as per the post above?

So did you change the Mino Link to the high ? How did it ride without that? Really just wanted to raise the front up a bit and managed to get a set of forks that are 160mm maybe should have bought 150mm.

Has anyone run a 160mm front fork ? are there any other changes that need to be made for that to work, and did it make a difference to the handling?.

The bike was not released in April, maybe you got a pre production unit :cautious:

You will love it, easily the best bike i have owned as a package, I have not yet found a situation where i cant ride somthing i could on my full power ebike, just a bit more effort which is satisfying. I am in Perth there appears to be quite a few Aussies have got these now it really does...

Just did a 32k loop about 250 elevation all in Eco and quite a bit pedalling over the 25k cut off on the downhills.
