not my rail but I borrowed it from a friend. I have to say that I like the bike very much and the bosh motor is a dream if you compare it to a shimano motor
You have to find a shock with the 230 diameter thats the most imported for it to fit.
The other value is called stroke and can be changed with tokens so if you only find a stroke with exempel 230x62.5 you remove a token to get 60 stroke for exampel.
I'm not very good at explaining, but I hope...
Yes it has trunnion hardware as standard, but you can buy other hardware and change. many of the shocks can you buy with trunnion as standard s you dont need to change hardware.
a little bit OT maybe
now I don't know what material Shimano's motor guards are made of, but they last damn well.
I have hit my engine cover several times and have never managed to crack it
since trek runs with the dimensions 230x62.5 and the dhx2 coil is only sold in the dimension 230x60, you have to remove a spacer so you get a 62.5 stroke.

no, it's difficult to see if it's the paint that's cracked or if it's a crack in the frame, I think I read about a trick you can do to tap the crack a little gently and...
my friend broke the chain stay on his 5 week old rise
orbea didn't take it under warranty either but offered him to buy a new chainstay where he got a 20% discount.
The funny think is that he didt ride it hard , he was riding gravel and fireroad to his work and it snapped.
no I also do not think that shockwiz sets fine adjustment but it is probably just to set a basic adjustment.
yes fox tools are really good for documenting settings if you screwed everything up and do not remember what settings you had before.
When I set up my fork and shock i start with a Base...
I tried a rail and did not think there was anything wrong with it, as someone mentioned earlier, I would recommend changing the tires as bontrager tires get very nervous at a little speed and especially if it is a bit chunky.
