The replacement
the replacement arm I received came with very few instructions, and I had a gap on the shock yoke after install. Pole advised torquing the axel bolts 10# beyond spec which wound up breaking the bolt heads. Luckily I had extra from the broken bits.
It’s a shame that this happening!
Hope they get you parts quickly! And prioritize broken bikes over new bikes 🤷♂️
It was my drive side that broke as well.
Take your time with the install
The Voima is a playful bike for 190/190. But I’ve gone to an Orbea Wild 170/160 it’s on a whole different level of playful. Most fun I’ve had on a bike yet.
Maybe the 170/160 Voima will be similar 🤷♂️
In my experience longer travel equals longer wheelbase, which for me leads to less agile and slower in tight technical trails. In a straight downhill the Voima is unstoppable, you put in some tight turns and it’s a different story. Just my 2¢
Bosch is king for now! Crestline is epic but 12k, Strive-on won’t be US till September and big reach for a short dude, commencal 625wh. I’ve run through all the options 🤪
Never in my 3years of riding emtb have I swapped a battery mid ride and the powermore may help there if needed. 🤙
I’ve got an LED raw K1; Zeb ultimate, Axs deraileur with Shimano drive 👍, axs dropper, EXT arma, h1700 wheels, MT7 brakes I’m thinking of selling for $8500
I’ve been considering getting a new bike with slightly less travel, and lower than my Voima. Boom the enduro Onni is damn near the geo I’ve been looking for. However I don’t think that I can give Pole any more of my money, with the way my swing arm issue went down.
I’m honestly thinking...
