Well they won’t be running a Bosch motor (I ment that most Mountain bikers have ridden a Bosch bike) yes the team confirmed they are running custom firmware. I doubt it even a coding issue! Probably more a Hardware limitation

Yes technically the M510 is as powerful as the Bosch! No and no!

The M600 has fantastic power, but Bafang firmware is poor and implementation even worse. I’ll forgive it because of the power and be mindful of its aggressive start power, especially when manoeuvring. Not interested in messing with firmwares so that rules out the m510

I won’t touch a M510 till the firmware is sorted! my M600 feels quite good apart from the slightly aggressive initial pull away which I’m used to now! but Bafang are light years behind Bosch on usability! And there attitude to customers sucks!

that’s exactly what the EMTB mode does on the Bosch, a very intuitive system which then does away with tons of different modes! come Bafang! Step up!

They’ve got to do something!!! Even a Customer login for the Besst Tool would be good, which has certain features blocked but others items like wheel diameter, voltage cutoffs and power modes would be helpful!

The more I read about Bafang and their firmware the more I detest them!
