I cannot fathom how some people complain this motor is "noisy"? The motor itself makes near no noise, there is just a rumble from the chain. No whining like yamaha, shimano, bosch etc. The only motor that is quieter is probably the belt driven brose. The DynaMe 3.0 is way quieter than my E8000...

Yep, my large Altitude A70 is sitting around 23.7kg. I wasn't expecting the Growler to be so heavy!

Before i read your comment i was just about to suggest to calibrate the torque sensor. Rocky recommends to do this regularly - it takes less than 10 seconds - i do it just about every time i ride it.

If you have the 2021 firmware loaded you will now have much better motor support over a widen cadence range :)

No major changes for 2021 models, just firmware update to the drive system and minor spec changes. It would be all on the Rocky website, available models is dependant on your region. Try view the website on desktop mode or via a computer, it displays better, mobile can glitch

ELectronics on the bike should have 3yrs warranty. Hit up your service centre for a fix :)

Altitude and Instinct run a 210x55mm shock. Instinct BC runs a 216x63mm (8.5x2.5") shock for the longer travel

It would be the bearing or the primary drive chain in my opinion. Could be worth removing the cover on the other side to inspect the chain for stretch

I would say this rule of thumb is pretty useless - Same shock, same rider(weight), different bike can have massive variance on required air pressure, depends largely on the leverage ratio of the suspension.

Are you running 2 magnets? I have one at home ready to try, should be cool. My only reservation is that it puts the trip/speedo/odo out of whack. Have you noticed any problems with this device fitted?

It's plugin with the service tool, i assume via iwoc connector. Rocky need to supply them the software file if they don't already have it and then they can do it in house. The rep is visiting next week so he was to supply the software on the day

I agree with this, if you're looking for a trail bike then a lot of the new emtbs are very gravity focused.

That sounds about right. 2020 C50 is listed at 23.53kg, which is probably a medium, without pedals.

Comparing the Altitude recently i found that the same spec level models had a difference of roughly 1.5kg, ie A70 24.8kg, C70 23.3kg

The Instinct A70 BC is 25kg, very heavy in the alloy frame
