Thanks Rod, will look at this when I get chance. Plenty of time though, as I don’t have a charger for the bike at the moment. Been 3 weeks without one and just been told that it’s not been shipped by Orbea yet!!

It was indeed a faulty charger. Just waiting for a new one, so been without the bike for 2 weeks and counting!

I’m guessing it’s a faulty charger, as when I plug it in, it flashes blue briefly, then goes out. According to the manual, it’s supposed to blink blue continuously.

Just plugged in the Rise to charge it and nothing. The light on the charger flashes blue very quickly and goes out. Been working fine up to now, anyone got any ideas. The bike turns on and works fine, just won’t charge.

My Wife had a test ride on the Orbea on Saturday and she bought it. Was a great price considering it had 4 piston XT brake upgrades. Had a little spin on it myself without the motor and was surprised just how it rode like a normal bike.

What was the issue? I've heard about them falling off mid ride but been assured that they will cheque the torque and threadlock the bolts to stop this happening

I'd rather not say who the dealer is. Don't want to land anyone in it!

The Wife is on the verge of buying a Rise H15 at a good price but I'm needing reassurance about Orbea reliability and warranty. Those of you who own an Orbea bike, can you list any issues you may have had and how quickly they were resolved please

Yes, I'm concerned about spares after warranty too. There's a thread about a Santa Cruz Heckler owner on here and he's having issues getting a new Shimano EP8 motor, even though he's willing to pay for it!!!

That's interesting...I notice that Profile 2 on boost, the max torque is 63nm. I thought the max torque was 60nm or are you using Stunlocker?

Thanks. The LBS said that profile 2 is more like a motorbike!!!. My Wife will be having a test ride at the weekend but all she needs to know is whether the power is there if needed, especially for steep climbs.
