Looks good. Did you mount your rear tire on backwards for a particular reason?

Forestal told me by e-mail that their motor is unique to them and is not just an M820. I would have preferred it to just be an M820 so that rebuilds, and replacements were available for many years. Truth is that Forestal is much more likely to shut the doors rather than Bafang. Is the Forestal...

Totally agree, it's like driving on the wrong side of the road or something. Sheesh!

No. Used with a normal derailleur UDH will operate as all derailleur hangers operate, as a disposable fuse in the system to protect other parts.

I bought the original XX1 AXS in 2019 from a friend that was an industry insider, a few days before it was released and used it for years on 2 bikes. It's now on it's 3rd bike, my wife's. Mondraker.

With SRAM Transmission, the concern that some have, is that with no 'fuse' in place as there is no hanger any longer to fail, that something more expensive will fail instead. In reality AXS has a very robust clutch mechanism that gives way during side impacts. Since Eagle Transmission is...

Would anyone be so kind as to check max real world seat post insertion on an S5?

There is no such thing as a 'new UDH-T AXS'. You simply remove the UDH, and install the new Eagle Transmission in it's place. Transmission does not use a hanger at all, but does need the exact spacing left by the removal of the UDH to fit a frame correctly.

You are still confused. UDH works with all derailleurs, but you can only run Transmission if the bike came with UDH. That is all. The other stuff you are saying is gibberish (not trying to be rude). Anyways, in this frame price range no UDH isn't a big deal and I have no intention of ever...

The only 'standard' derailleur hanger is the UDH and it works perfectly with all derailleurs, is cheap and available everywhere. Not having a UDH is a major turnoff as I already have a high end '18 bike where the derailleur hangers, just aren't really available any longer. There seems to be...

Any ride reports coming back yet regarding the frame and the motor in particular? The CEF50 doesn't have a flip chip or anything to compensate for a mullet configuration does it?

So vague! Could you elaborate? What's better about the motor? How is the noise level? What's not so great about the frame? What does your build weigh and what size is it? Thx.

Please report on the M820 noise level.

Some of the riding I did on Sunday, I'd be dead if my frame catastrophically broke. It definitely gives me pause occasionally.

In my coil experience on Horst Link bikes, you can take the riders weight, times the Leverage ratio, to get very close to the needed spring rate. In reality only a percent of that weight is on the rear shock, and different seat tube angles and chainstay lengths alter this as well...

First, the proper way to measure LR is from the sag point at 30%, to 95% travel where bumpers and air ramp make the LR irrelevant anyways. I went back and found the chart and got these numbers: LR at 30% is 3.23, LR at 95% is 2.57. so .66/ 2.57 = 26% progression. Which in my experience is the...

I did try and get a frame weight out of Transition and they stated " since we don't have production models of those physically here yet, we have not weighed them yet..." I asked them about the possible 2# weight gain & loss of frame strength from the removable battery and they stated: "we have...
